Porterstore, the new name for our self-storage division, reflects the rich history and evolution of Andrew Porter Ltd, a renowned company known for providing exceptional removals and storage services to a global clientele, both for business and domestic needs.

Since its inception by Andrew Porter in 1973, and now under the leadership of Managing Director Tim Aspey, our company has established an enviable reputation for outstanding customer service across all our service areas.

Operating from purpose-built containerised storage and self-store warehouses in the North West, Porterstore is a symbol of our commitment to innovation and quality in the storage sector. Our extensive fleet of specialist removal vehicles operates across the UK and Europe, ensuring we deliver reliable and expert solutions for any removal or storage requirement.

The launch of Aport

In 2016, we expanded our expertise with the launch of Aport, our specialist laboratory relocations firm. Aport stands out in managing intricate and critical lab relocations, it is a specialist in the management of complex and business critical laboratory relocation requirements including end to end project management all of which is performed to industry recognised GxP standards.

2017 marked a significant milestone with the opening of our purpose-built self-storage facility now known as Porterstore. At Porterstore, we prioritise making storage convenient and accessible for both domestic and business customers. Our facilities boast numerous features and added benefits, setting a new standard in the self-storage experience.
